Your Church Needs You

In common with everyone else, Christ Church is facing some major financial challenges at the moment and we are actively seeking to find new ways of serving God.  We are keen to continue being active in our community, whilst funding a continuing presence for the church in this place.

The Church is about people - not buildings and finance - and giving to the Church is about time and talents at least as much as it is about money so if you feel you can help the work of Christ Church in any way, please do get in touch (see contact details).

However, we are currently facing some very serious financial challenges.  We are confident that as a church and as individuals, our future is in God's caring hands,  and we will continue to seek to do His will in our lives and in this community.  There is a very real possibility that financial pressures could cause this church to close at some point in the next couple of years.  We are doing everything we can to prevent this from happening and we have already been greatly encouraged by God's blessings in the past few months.  However, we would welcome any offers of help.

If you would like to make a donation, please contact the church office (see contact us), the Rector, Treasurer, Deputy Treasurer or any of the Wardens or Stewards (see who's who).

If you are a tax payer and are not currently gift-aiding your donations, please print and complete a gift aid declaration which should be sent to the Parish Office (contact us) so that we can claim back 28p from HM Revenue and Customs for every £1 you donate.

If you would like to make a regular donation with a standing order, please complete a standing order form or contact the church office, treasurer or deputy treasurer (treasurer contact details) for the relevant bank details.  Alternatively, if you would like to give tax-efficiently through donations in the collection plate, please contact the Gift Aid Secretary (Gift Aid Contact Details).

Many thanks you your help.
